Capps is just trying to make points, since IOD is local to her. She
will fade away and not follow through on this, as she usually does.
She is one of those who works hard not to draw attention to herself,
except when she needs to make a show for the locals.
Markey is a little different, but he also is unlikely to follow
through with anything significant. I really doubt anything will come
of this, but Capps may get a donation from certain parties to her next
re-election campaign in 2002 by doing her part :)
I wonder if pulling her campaign finance reports would reveal anything
worth noting this year.
