When Ken answered that there were NO penalties as a result of the '
confusion ', it was in answer to a penalty for resubmitting a name. Do you
know / can you confirm if this is also the case for the $20 penalty for
re-registrations after the de-activation date? I don't want to assume
anything and I've asked this question twice before with no answer. I have
also re-read all the November archives for fear I may have missed a post -
nada.
Way back, this penalty was posted on the CIRA site, but there is no longer
mention of it... however I don't believe it's safe to assume anything when
it comes to CIRA. Someone may have just overlooked it when they re-wrote
those pages.
IF CIRA is charging a penalty, what is OpenSRS fee to us? I need this info,
so I can remind one of my customers that he's got to do this before the
deadline.
