hi i'm new to the list and to opensrs but i've ran into a problem that i
don't know if its me anymore
i'm using FreeBSD 4.1-RELEASE
i'm using opensrs-2.2
i'm using perl-5.005_03
all the perl mods are the current from http://search.cpan.org
the url i installed opensrs on for testing is :
http://sloth.c-zone.net/opensrs/cgi/manage.cgi or any of the other cgi's
i'm currently trying to finish the test for full access. i've done
everything but modify the DNS servers for the .org address i was
instructed to register from ns1.domaindirect.com and ns2.domaindirect.com
to cns1.idirect.com and cns2.idirect.com
every time i try to change the dns i get timed out and it tells me that i
am unable to establish socket.
in my OpenSRS.conf file the paths are all set correctly and all the cgi's
reference the full path to the OpenSRS.conf file.
REMOTE_PORT => 55000
REMOTE_HOST => horizon.opensrs.net
are also set to those variables.
if this list isn't for people still going through the test phases but
meant only for LIVE RSP's then excuse the posting and possibly direct me
to another forum i might find the help i need to finish my test.
