Greetings,
I was wondering... why is it that transfers add only one year to
the registration? The reason I ask, is that I've found transfers
to take more time to deal with - particularly when they fail,
and I have to give a refund.
I don't want to have to charge extra for transfers (over the cost
of registration), but If I could force transfers to register an
extra 2 years instead of one, it might make the whole transfer
process more valuable. Yes, I know they can always renew after
they've transferred, but it would be better if they could specify
a number of years during the actual transfer...
So - is there a reason for the limitation?
