can't type a URL address in Chinese characters into IE or

character string (yet) anyway.

How come I could still enter AND visit ISO8859-1 encoded domains this guy
showed me??

Because I did and it worked. No special settings. I just happen to have a
european charset & keyboard. I have entered the name into the url field
(with characters like and ), pressed enter and it worked.

Well, maybe not with Chinese characters... only with western european. But
what is the difference?
