DotTV is the target of a lawsuit from a pair of upset customers
claiming that the exclusive registrar of .tv domains reneged on a deal to
sell them the "broadband.tv" name in order to sell it for more money.

In their suit filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, Bob Abrahams and
Amy Snively allege that they purchased broadband.tv for $100 from the
Pasadena-based company, only to find a few days later that dotTV was taking
the name back and attempting to sell it for as much as $250,000.

On the dotTV website, the company is currently offering the
broadband.tv URL for $62,500 per year, with a minimum two-year commitment.

A copy of the complaint was not immediately available, but plaintiff's
attorney Michael Grace claims his clients have complete documentation to
back up their allegations. The damages they will be seeking have yet to be
determined.

A dotTV representative said the company has not yet received a copy of
the complaint and could not comment.
