I'd like to see answers to this myself - Someone up the ladder must know
how/who to contact in that organisation. This kind of thing gives everyone
in the industry a bad name.
I had similar experiences myself with them. Totally ignoring
calls/mail/fax/cleft-stick messages. I'm still getting deactivation messages
from them for domains that I transferred away from them months ago. Lets
hope they can't actually deactivate domains that are no longer on their
system.!
It's getting way beyond time that some sort of Body was formed to monitor
the industry in a selfregulating capacity. Like the Master Builders
Association or some such - even like a domain name I cam across this
morning - "thenationalassociationfortheadvancementofpoorwhitetrash.net"
If you can't read that -
"the national association for the advancement of poor white trash.net"
I love it.
anyway, maybe its way past time. Obviously it would have no teeth, but like
the IEEE, members would have to meet certain criteria. Honesty, reliability,
responsiveness. If you wanted to display the "logo", then you meet the
criteria, and clients have the right to complain, - via a link - to the
Body. After a while, folks get to know, the Logo means you are a member. no
logo, take your chances.
hpe Robert Kidd solves his problem..
