I thought I would posty this to the list for discussion because its bound to
affect other people.
I have contacted Errol at support directly about it as he deals with .uk
domains, so I know it will be dealt with, but it raises wider issues about
OpenSRS handling of .co.uk domains.
I transferred a .co.uk onto the TUCOWS-CA tag and into my RSP system
yesterday.
The domain expires *today* and I have no way of renewing it for the
customer.
The advice in the FAQ is that as OpenSRS have not been registering .uk
domains for two years none are due for renewal yet they are working on a
renewal system which will be ready by the time the first ones come round for
renewal.
Obviously this is not the case for transfers and we need a renewal system
urgently.
If we have to manually contact support for transfers and renewals on .uk
domains it is really going to bog down the RSP's and OpenSRS in unnecessary
admin work and we will all suffer.
