I apologize for the lateness in this reply.
.uk domains are, by default, automatically renewed by Nominet. We are
developing a system that will allow you to opt out of a renewal - otherwise
you will be charged. This system is not yet functional - since Nominet
domains are renewed for 2 years, we will renew them automatically unless we
hear from you and/or your registrant directly. Timelines for when this will
be working haven't been set yet (it's a relatively new issue) but we will
keep our .uk suppliers and handlers well informed.
