Hello,
Between myself and two other fellow webmasters, we have about 60
.com/.net/.org domain names total. We currently pay $15-30 a year for each
of those domain names.
I'm wondering if it would be cost effective for us to become an OpenSRS
Registration Service Provider. The thing is that at this point, we don't
plan on providing domain registrations to other people. We would like to
do that in the future (which is why I'm looking at using OpenSRS instead
of a normal registrar that costs $10 per year), but not for a while as we
have other projects to work on.
We would be just transferring our *existing* domains mostly... not
registering new ones. If I understand correctly, keeping 60 domain names
active should cost $600 a year (and the $250 signup fee would go towards
this $600). Am I right, or is there something I missed?
Thanks,
