Use the "Place Transfer Manually" section at http://resellers.opensrs.net
section to initiate a transfer (or, if you're using the client code,
reg_system.cgi). The entire process (etc) is mapped out at:

Be sure you attempt the transfer at LEAST 3 weeks before expiry. The
transfer process automagically adds a year to the domain's "life" so
there's no need to wait until the last minute. Some registrars add their
own processes and can add time to the process.
