Ok,

I'll answer all the questions.

1) Getting two copies of the emails?

Not sure - this is the first anyone here has heard of it, so we're looking
into it. Could be isolated to yourself, so that might help. If anyone is
getting multiple messages, let me know and we'll dig deeper.

2) Did we cut a deal with DirectNIC?

We do not discuss deals that we have with our partners, it's just not good
business practice. We don't talk to you about "them" (whoever "they" may
be), and we don't talk to "them" about you.

3) Are we merging or something?

No, I think you'd have heard well before an errant message (see below) was
sent :)

4) How did this happen?

This takes a bit of explanation. A job runs regularly to check quotas and
send messages if you've fallen below your threshold. Most of the data in
the email are variables (company name, email address to send back to,
reseller account, and threshold amount - in this case).

So, we do our best to test everything we do, using environments similar (as
similar as possible) to our live system. Occasionally we need real data, so
we suck use some live data - ensuring that we dont change any of that data
when the tests run, and we see what happens and not you guys (after all,
these are tests). Well, one bit was stuck in the wrong place, and a few
emails went out (less than a dozen actually).

To sum up, the test that ran had some test data in our configuration
(company name, email address, etc). It had DirectNIC as the company name,
and [EMAIL PROTECTED] as the address - just a coincidence actually, I've
seen tests run with several other company names and settings. This just
happened to come "from" DirectNIC (glad it didn't come from DomainDirect!
*grin*).

Anyway, the problem was rectified as soon as it was noticed, and is (I
assure you) an isolated incident. Apologies for any confusion.
