Rick,

Thank-you for trying to clarify some things... still a few questions
though :)

I understand that from previous emails, the .info will be available
for pre-reg from today - Tuesday 5th? Did I understand that wrong?

So... assuming the RWI comes online at that time with the ability to
order - how do we submit orders? I know there's a batch submission
thing later - but that's simple enough. At the moment, I'm more
interested in how the system will work in that first hour (and the
exact second that it is available for us to place orders).

I also meant to ask - for .info... will you initially be accepting
sunrise AND start-up apps? I have no interest in the sunrise apps
(that's the 5-year one, yes?) IS the landrush application available
from the same time? This may have been answered before, but things
seem to change so frequently, I don't know the answer.

In answer to your other points:

> However, you will have the ability to select 'number of tickets'
> Details to follow tomorrow.

I understand that the .biz probs are beyond your control. Thank-you
for your prompt response (and I'm glad we will be able to specify
number of tickets!)

> 3. Submitting more than 1 order (for .info I presume) Tucows is only
> accepting submissions on a first come, first served basis for .info to
> ensure that we maximize reseller chances of getting the name they submit.

I understand that Tucows will only be putting one request for any
domain forward, so that they don't waste their position in the queue
for a name they already submitted... but we seem to have had conflicting
information as to how Tucows was going to choose that one domain.

You are saying now, that it is first-in, first-serve. This is what
was said initially, and what I believed to be the case... until the
last email, which read:

> 4. .info registry will be selecting submissions RANDOMLY from within
> the Tucows queue; all resellers, regardless of submission date, have
> an EQUAL chance of being awarded the .info domain)

I'd interpreted the above to mean that it was no longer a first-in,
first-served basis. I guess that was the wrong interpretation?

Kirk Fletcher
