The above is not spam, since I am indeed on your mailing list consentingly.
However...

Is this ethical? Is it even legal?

Try it, and watch how fast your mailserver finds itself unable to traverse
my router. I am already considering doing so, since you refuse to cease &
desist sending deceptive reminder/transfer notices and scary "Your domain
has been deleted from the database" e-mails to my other clients who have
long since transferred to other TLD operators. Now you are threatening to
spam the domains I still have registered through Netsol, if I do not sign
your contract? I would take this opportunity to remind you that none of the
domains in question have consented to receive unsolicited mail from you.

Thank you for the warning. As it happens I have a few hours to spare, now
would be a good time to transfer the remaining 200-odd domains I still have
at Netsol, elsewhere.

Regards

Bob
