It's the new reality of the Internet Russ. The smart companies are laying
people off as they strive towards profitability. The rest have turned a
blind eye and are hoping for the best.
Entrust is in a hot space and they've taken some punches, but they certainly
aren't down for the count. Neither is Intel, JDS, Nortel, AOL, Baltimore
etc., etc., etc. A dotcom that hasn't laid someone off over the last six
months is like a dotcom circa 1997 that hasn't received a $500mm valuation
from an exuberant VC.
