My apologies if I came off glib - my point was more that none of us should
let occasional bad news sway us from our respective course. News similar to
that which you referenced is a fact of life in this post-bubble era. While
we should remain vigilant, it's important to remember that the irrational
exuberance, in many cases (esp. within the popular media), has been replaced
by irrational cynicism.
