In case anyone's interested, I've written a shell script to assist in collecting preliminary data for bulk registrations. I have it running on FreeBSD, but I believe it should run on just about anything that has a normal whois client, a shell-based printf and lynx on the path. It's at http://www.it.ca/software/domregexp . I'm not considering this thing quite finished yet. ;) If it breaks on your system, send me email off- list with the error and your `uname -a`.
