I am a new OpenSRS RSP and wondered if someone could "hold my hand" on a
domain transfer issue.

In preparing to move the domains I am resposible for from NSI to OpenSRS
there are a few domains which are problematic. I am the registered
Admin/Billing/Tech contact for a few, and only the Tech contact for others.
My servers provide secondary DNS for these domains.

Six weeks ago I contacted the domain registrant in question and gave them
30 days to arrange to transfer secondary DNS service and also to
remove/replace me as the contact point for the domains. I offered them
links to free secondary providers, offered to complete the transfer
templates for them, and even offered to come to their location *for free*
and setup new DNS servers for them. Since that time they have done
nothing. No modifications to the records, no attempt to secure new
secondary service -- nothing. These domains were all registered with NSI.

Now I want to start migrating all my NSI registrations to OpenSRS; but I do
not want to do diddly for these particular domains.

How can I remove myself from responsibility for these domains? I can't
even change the DNS records without pointing to a new secondary DNS source
- which i do not have. Can I simply terminate the NSI registrations for
these domains without legal responsibility? I have my email documentation
of the notice sent to them (and their acknowledgement of the notice). Do I
need more documentation?

Any advice on this matter would be appreciated. These are domains which
are being actively used for business and consumer sites. I'd hate to
release the names back to the public -- but how else can I get the
registrant to rake action?

Jonathan
