Today I found out why a domain I tried to transfer away from NSI was
'canceled' by NSI.
The admin-c received the infamous confirmation message from NSI:

Date: Sun, 3 Jun 2001 09:06:10 -0400 (EDT)
From: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
To: postmaster@XXXXXX
Subject: [NIC-010602.482c] Change of Registrar Authorization Request

In the message it explicitly states you have three calendar days to reply.

Date: Tue, 5 Jun 2001 16:13:02 -0400 (EDT)
From: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
To: postmaster@XXXXXXX
Subject: [NIC-010602.482c] Change of Registrar - Request to Change Not
Confirmed/Denied

Less then three days later I received the 'not confirmed' message.

Scott, what was the outcome of the ICANN meeting on this subject ? Why
wasn't this forbidden by ICANN right away ?

Thanks,

Taco
