They have never *allowed* transfers after the expiry date. The fact that
their technical incompetence prevented them from enforcing this until
recently is another issue altogether.
Transfers should never be left to the last day, or even the last month, IMO.
You don't lose ANYTHING (Except bank interest on $10) to transfer it
earlier, and save yourself a bunch of headache.
