This is something we're working on changing, including updating the client
code to do the same thing. Part of this is a function of the browser (such
as MSIE) which doesn't cache form data over an SSL session - Netscrape
handles it though.
Basically the order logic has to change so when you have a mistake it will
prepopulate the form with correct data, and highlight the wrong data. It's
been like this since the beginning (unfortunately) and will take some time.
I'll see if I can't find out timelines today (one of my coworkers is absent,
and he has all that information).
