Just wondering if there's a list of whom all the RSP's are? (As well as
any domain names they are masquerading under.)
Because I'm the admin contact on over a 100 domains I'm getting spammed
relentlessly by domain registrars who have yahoo (or other free) email
accounts. They're all telling me about .biz, .info and when some of my
domains are coming up for renewal.
I figured if I could check (quickly) to see if these folks are actually
RSP's engaging in UCE-spam techniques as well as raping whois servers
(which I understand was a problem with OpenSRS whois server for a while)
we could bring it up here so they could be publicly flogged.
Doubt it's available for privacy reasons etc. but maybe I am not looking
in the right place.
When I looked I did notice the sales mail link on OpenSRS website if a
client would like to know an authorized RSP to register their domain.
How exactly are those leads dispersed? Geographic location? Round
robin? :)
