For quite some time now a few RSP like us, have asked for transfer
personalization to be improved.
I was told some time ago that new version API would include this
improvements. Now I see that all that has been done is add more messages
(confirmation and cancellation) an let us personalize the subject and reply
to address. Nothing else.
Perhaps if I left the subject of this message in English, but the contents
in a different language... you would understand how this "improvement" helps
us.
The same with that "beautiful" transfer page, on which (at least) we can add
some copy in order to translate everything said above.
With the amount of personalization and the way OpenSRS works I simply can
not understand what is the problem on letting us RSP have some more control
on the way (and language) we communicate with out clients. If we can not
control the "hole" message or page (because of obvious legal reasons of
Tucows as a registrar), please think of a system that we can at least "add"
enough information for our customers so they understand what they are
reading.
- How about a "Text to add at the beginning of transfer message" box.
- How about an HTML box or CSS style to personalize the transfer pages.
Alternatively, add transfer messages and pages in 8 or 10 languages so we
can choose for the rest of NON english clients around the world.
