On Monday I posted a reply to your question indicating
that in all likelihood the domain had been registered
all along, and that the first error was simply an indication
that the system could not determine whether the domain
was available.
I don't recall...did you post the domain name at that
time? You might check the WHOIS to see when it was
actually registered. That could help you understand what
happened.

Subject: "domain taken" error ignored by support
On Monday I posted a question about a "domain taken" error:
>I tried to register a domain and I got a weird response about "no response
>from the RA" or something. I try again and it says "Domain taken"!!!
>
>It's nearly impossible that somebody has registered it in the meantime,
>since the domain is a 12-letter acronym for a little medical organization
>in Spain.
I don't know what to do. I contacted support, I paged the 24h help techs,
and the domain keeps locked. My customer is really anger and I can't do
anything! :(
Any ideas?
Jorge
