What will happen if the root servers say that ns1.devilsplayground.net = 1.1.1.1, but my A records say that ns1.devilsplayground.net = 1.1.2.2? Will this "break" anything? Both IPs are valid, and resolve to the same physical machine. It's a temporary solution, mandated because my ISP has decided, once again, to change all of the IPs I am paying through the nose to have as static IPs. Because of the 72hour TTL on the root servers, this will naturally happen for at least that long, possibly longer as I get everything updated on my secondary DNS servers. ======================================================== Dave Warren, Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Priority: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ========================================================
