All the people that whined and cried about the $10/wholesale cost of a .COM
domain year, and commented how Tucows should be charging just barely above
the $6.50 ICANN cost...
If you are like me, I hope you have your fingers crossed that Tucows has
plenty of money in their legal budget to fight this one off. Seems like
Verisign has evalulated the cost of registrations they are losing, to how
much it will cost to put up a legal battle with TuCows and Register.com
When you're losing thousands of customers non-stop every day, it makes you
desperate. It appears that Verisign plans to just be starting with this
nonsense and will pursue it until everyone's legal budgets are exhausted and
tired of hearing about this nonsense.
Get ready for the roller coaster ride.
