Sort of....

NSI sent Tucows a list of 32 domain names that carried the implication that
potentially 24% of the domain names had been "slammed" - ie - transferred
from NSI to Tucows without the registrants consent. I had to contact all of
the registrants on this list in order to ensure that their allegations were
off-base. In the case referred to above, I had asked the good folk at Bella
Mia to provide me with some/any documentation that they might have that
would clearly demonstrate that they had the authority of the registrant to
act on their behalf.

This was obviously an exception and not the rule...
