<snip >Wouldn't it be at least possible to just use olddomain/user/password and not *retrieve* domain information but just save to the olddomain/user/password profile instead of saving each new domain to a newdomain/user/password profile? If it was too much hazzle to add the "change contact info" stuff in the short time, this solution would help work around this. Even the new system basically clutters all registered info and biz domains to their own profiles. Each single domain to its own profile. What's the use of that? Hey, it's just a matter of simple database programming to file a domain to a certain profile. <snip>
This will make managing .info and .biz contact information behave differently from managing other contact information. Features in the MWI like "Apply to All domains" will not make sense to have domains from different registries. It is simplest (at the current time) to contain domains with the same contact information within a profile. Users will not have the ability to log in and manage their domains until around October or November. When the registries go live we will be able to guage how they operate technically and then make the necessary adjustments. I assure you that we are looking out for your best interests, but until we can confirm how the respective registries operate individually and how the data will interact with each other, I would rather be safe than sorry...and thus wait to provide you with an answer.
For what I understand, there is a *big* difference between *managing* many domains on one profile and the contact and address data of domains.
Hope this helps
