Not sure if you are all aware, but snapnames.com puts out some really
interesting and useful newsletters monthly and quarterly.
Among their data are statistics regarding the number of registrations
performed at each registrar. I doubt OpenSRS can or will comment on any
relationship with snapnames, but their data is far more advanced than
anything you can get from the zone files alone, and I doubt (though it is
possible) that they are purchasing whois data in bulk from EVERY registrar.
Anyone have any idea where this info comes from?
