There is no fix for this.  It's being done intentionally to stem the
flow of transfers, and to try and force the customers to renew with
them.

There really is little you can do except to document it and let the
OpenSRS people know so that they can present the numbers to ICANN and
the Registrars Constituency in their discussions on this.

Not much help in the here and now, I know.
