I like to think that it's even more logical than that....:^)
We are keeping 2 lists a Regular List and a Premium List. Nothing has
changed with the Regular list and the lists are not mutually exclusive.
'Copy to Premium' is a true copy. If you Copy to Premium then the copied
name is on both lists. If, as the cards may have it, you get the name
through the Regular list you get charged the Regular Queue fee and (subject
to having chosen a longer registration length) 2 years registration. If you
are successful on the 'Premium list' then you get charged the Premium Queue
fee and get (subject to having chosen a longer registration length) 3 years
registration. You get a full refund for any Premium or Regular Queue listing
that does not result in a succesful registration.
The on-hold period for the funds works the same as for the Regular queue so,
aside from needing extra funds in your account during the hold period, there
is no disadvantage to listing in both queues. We have accepted this
duplication because we didn't want to play with the rules on the Regular
Queue while in the midst of the festivities.
