Well, imagine that everyone would feel anxious about possible hijackings of his
domain and scans his domains on a daily basis. And, btw, the expiration date
doesn't necessarily change from a "hijack" (whatever you mean in this case). Your
250+ daily lookups won't do any harm on the OpenSRS whois, that's just not very
much, but if anybody starts to do this it would create grief.
