Also, this discussion belongs on discuss-list, and in spite of what you've 
been hearing, I'll bet that more people would have been upset if it had 
been started on biz-ops.  Biz-ops is good for all the "who can provide xyz" 
and "we now sell xyz" ads, but "let's talk about Tucows doing a deal with 
xyz" and "should Tucows offer xyz product" are discussions.

As a less-vocal reseller, it's nice to see these things on the discuss list.

Bottom line: if you can offer snapnames' service while meeting the three 
criteria you listed, those resellers opposing it wouldn't have a leg to 
stand on - they wouldn't offer it, and it wouldn't affect them.  At the 
same time, you'd give the rest of us a nice revenue opportunity.
