Yes, they can. This actually isn't in the FAQ.
You must contact your current TAG holder and ask them to transfer the
domain to TUCOWS-CA (our IPS TAG). Then you must contact Support and let
them know what reseller account the domain should go into :) We parse the
information from Nominet (who holds Registration data), and the rest is
history.
BTW - you cannot yet renew a domain via OpenSRS for .uk (no OpenSRS
sponsored .uk domains will be up for expiry until 2002 as we did not start
registrations until 2000 - min 2 year registration) so please keep this in
mind before transfering.
