They are saying as of now on their website:- http://www.afilias.info/faq/2-whois.html 2.3 - How often will the Whois information be updated? During the Sunrise Period and Startup queues, .INFO WHOIS will be updated in accordance with published schedules, which all registrars have received. After the processing of all queues is complete at the end of the Startup Period, WHOIS will generally be updated within five (5) minutes of a change being received.
and (http://www.afilias.info/faq/3-dns.html) Updates to the zone information will be generated automatically every five minutes. These updates will reflect any modifications, additions or deletions to the registry, that have been made by the registrars during that time period. Only changes that have been committed to the database will be reflected in the zone information update. ----- Original Message ----- From: "erol M" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "OpenSRS" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Cc: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Friday, October 05, 2001 12:11 PM Subject: Re: Can't tell if .info domain is really registered > Afilias reportd that they would not be updating their WHOIS in real time ( > ofr what ever there original plan was )....They are saying it will update > every 8-12 hours. > > > On Fri, 5 Oct 2001, OpenSRS wrote: > > > We had a customer register several .info domains today.
