CIRA has started the consultation process intended to better define the roles and responsibilities of resellers of domain names.
CIRA staff have prepared a document to start the discussion which is available at http://www.cira.ca/en/cat_Cira.html. I am pretty confident many of you will read it and have negative first reactions. People should realize this is designed to start discussions and come up with a common ground hence it is very drastic in some areas. I would urge any of you selling CA names to take some time and comment. I know that Tim Denton has a mailing list going where people can discuss it further. You are also welcome to comment directly.
