If these invoices are paid I'd say no. The time to tell a supplier the invoices should be under a different name, and that paper copy is required is *before* you pay them. Paying them implies acceptance of the terms and what parties are entering into it.
What they're asking you do in effect is rewrite history with respect to these transactions and it actually sounds kinda shady to me. (Not you, them) I wouldn't take part in it.
