.INFO transfer confirmations - what is "Authorization information" ?

I'm trying to do manual transfers (to OpenSRS) of .INFO domains through the RWI.   When I receive the confirmation email, in addition to the Daytime Phone and Accept/Reject boxes, there is a new one called "Authorization information".   What's that for?  It is apparently between 6 and 16 chars, and not optional...
