No requirement that I know offhand, I mean - they can't STOP you from going, but I'm sure there will be some that will make it difficult to obtain the code.

Is there any requirement that the current registrar provide this information?  I intended to transfer in .info names from four other registrars, none of whom currently show me this code.

Sounds like .info registrar changes are going to be few and far between.

This is an "auth_code" (docs are coming out today for this, btw).  This is something from the EPP registry protocol, and shows that you are verifiably the owner of the domain.  You must obtain this from your current registrar of record (fwiw, .info domains show the auth_code in the manage interface under Organization contact)

I'm trying to do manual transfers (to OpenSRS) of .INFO domains through the RWI.

When I receive the confirmation email, in addition to the Daytime Phone and Accept/Reject boxes, there is a new one called "Authorization information".

What's that for?  It is apparently between 6 and 16 chars, and not optional...
