When I was signing up as a reseller, I thought I read somewhere that the OpenSRS-sf project at SourceForge was going to become the standard release for OpenSRS software.
I cannot find that reference any longer. Did I imagine this? What are the advantages and disadvantages of going with either approach to a code base? I'm almost ready to go live with the OpenSRS-sf software (completing the integration to 2CheckOut.com right now), but I'm interested in opinions on what's the best strategic approach here. Other alternatives that make sense? I almost grabbed the PHP libraries and started from scratch as I'm much more comfortable with PHP than I am with Perl, but it also appeared that the OpenSRS-sf project was fairly well along - though still lacking some significant features. Comments? Suggestions? Thanks, -t
