Are you talking about the "Resend transfer request to the domain owner..." link? If so, that won't work. Assuming the admin contact hasn't accepted the transfer (which is obviously usually the case in this situation), you can cancel the transfer (using the "Cancel Transfer" button above the "Resend" link) and resubmit it from scratch. The resubmitted one will re-consult the WHOIS and all will be well. If I recall correctly, there was some discussion on the list about whether it should re-consult the WHOIS when you click "Resend transfer request...", and Chuck indicated that they didn't want it to do so because it led to unclear situations where messages could be sent to different people for the same transfer request ID -- you do have to start from scratch to make it clear what you're doing. -- Robert L Mathews, Tiger Technologies
