Transfer status is already available via the API, and has been for some
months now (this was announced).  It's not used by the OpenSRS client
code, but it is something pollable from our systems.

Also, ICANN rules basically state that the information we gather for a
transfer order should be up to date at the time of the order.  If the
information is out of date, after updating another order must be
processed.

We do have a "Declined Orders" process that makes this a lot smoother
(that's a relatively recent feature).  It allows you to quickly re-submit
an order without having to enter all the contact/profile information, and
it re-initiates the trasnfer process including obtaining the current
contact information from the losing registrar.
