Here is an inetresting question. I just noticed that when the .ca registry has scheduled downtime only .ca functionality will be unavailable *and* when the .biz registry has a scheduled downtime only .biz functionality will be unavailable *however* when Verisign (aka the .com .net .org registry) has a scheduled downtime *all* of the production systems will be down for the duration of the window.
Is this really the case, i.e. everything gets shut down while the versign registry is unavailable, or does the boilerplate text just need to be updated.
