I've never looked at vbulletin... But personally, I would strongly prefer something other then a webbased interface. If it supports mail lists and/or NNTP access, great, but webbased interfaces are simply too slow and clunky. (Ever surfed on a 9600bps modem? I do it all the time -- Email and NNTP are functional, web is pitiful. Why you ask? I take transit, an hour to and from work every day, why not read email and usenet from my Palm wirelessly?
