I finally have retrieved the auth_info codes for all my .info domain names.
The only way I could get most of the registrars to provide them was to email
[EMAIL PROTECTED] and tell them about the problem. This did get the results
I wanted. In my opinion the problem is that the people handling support
requests at the registrars really don't know what an auth_info code is.
I have also mailed to [EMAIL PROTECTED] but I never got any reply.
(might be perhaps due to my insufficient English)
Concerning one registrar, I noticed, that the transfer to Tucows
had been completed, but I do not have access to these domains
now. The domains were anywhere lost in space of Tucows.
Erol (Tucows) mailed me, that there is an open bug,
and now these domains are in my the Live System
'Pending Registry Approval'
But still no sucess concerning NameSecure.com and Register.com
There are apparently other problems - all .info transfers I have tried so
far have timed out waiting for registry approval, yet still show up in the
Afilias whois database as "pending transfer". I have a ticket open with
OpenSRS support on this problem, but have not gotten any response yet.
Yes, I have sent several emails + 2 phone calls until I got a reply.
But as Erol from Tucows wrote, they will fix the problem.
