auto-renew isn't a transaction that is pendable, so the "process" flag has no effect. Also, auto-renewed domains (afaik, I'll find out for sure) are automatic as well, but you do receive notification that the domain is up for auto-renewal.
We suggest that you do not enable auto-renewal unless you have a fairly positive way to bill your customer when the auto-renewal occurs (30 days before expiry) Charles Daminato TUCOWS Product Manager [EMAIL PROTECTED] On Fri, 8 Feb 2002, John Payne wrote: > So I must be missing something. > > I have "process renewals immediately" set to no in my reseller profile. > > $ grep -i renew OpenSRS.conf > %REG_SYSTEM %REGISTER %MANAGE $OPENSRS_TLDS_REGEX %RENEW > $USE_RACE @CA_LEGAL_TYPES_ORDER $RENEW_EMAIL %MAIL_SETTINGS); > $RENEW_EMAIL = '[EMAIL PROTECTED]'; > # giving your customers access to turn auto renew > allow_auto_renew => 0, > # giving your customers access to on turn auto renew > # or to renew their active domains > allow_renewals => 0, > allow_auto_renewal_message => 0, > %RENEW = ( > F_SEND_EMAIL => 1, # send renewal info to $RENEW_EMAIL > F_SEND_EU_EMAIL=> 1, # email thank-you to end user on renewal > > > And yet if I turn on allow_renewals in %MANAGE people can hit auto-renew > and the auto-renew flag is turned on *without* my confirmation. > > When the name does auto-renew, will the renewal be pended for my confirmation? > > -- > John Payne http://sackheads.org/jpayne/ [EMAIL PROTECTED] > http://sackheads.org/uce/ Fax: +44 870 0547954 > To send me mail, use the address in the From: header >
