Indeed -- it's impossible for WLS to "fail" using their metrics, and
note that it is VGRS alone that defines success/failure using that
response, not ICANN or the widespread community.

Combined with the other issue of the "secret" grandfathering potential,
and the general anti-competitiveness, I continue to be opposed. 

What's funny is how the document is now framing the WLS as a "new
service to benefit consumers", and no longer considers registry load an
issue whatsoever, since they admit that the current system is handling
the load just fine. 

If the registrars and the wider community allow this kind of thing to
go through, they might as well roll over and die now, since they'd be
admitting that they have no influence whatsoever in this market. Even
Microsoft isn't this bold in asserting its monopoly powers.
