Got a customer that bought a .info (spencers.info) a while ago (standard purchase - not landrush pre-reg or anything - no claim etc) . He has updated the info via Manage and if I check the info is all updated. However it still isn't updated in the public whois.
I had the same problem when changing a few technical contacts after transfers.
I did a re-update and the information got changed at the publuc whois too.
