Hi, regarding the procedure (canned response below taken from opensrs
mailing list search) for requesting formally the password when the admin
contact of the end client no longer works

- i would like to ask:

* the fax should be on the RSP's letter head or the Registrant's letterhead?

* should both parties sign the same fax, or should there be 2 faxes, one
with sig. of each?

thank you

Hello,

This is my canned answer for that (unfortunately) common problem:

If a domain owner has lost the login/password for a domain, the Reseller
can Email that info to them via "View Active Domains" on the resellers web
page. If you click on the domain in question, the Email link is at the
bottom.

For security reasons, OpenSRS will never send domain login info to anyone
for any reason.

If the Admin Contact Email address is invalid, the only remaining option is
to
send us a fax signed by the Reseller and Domain Owner requesting the Email
address be changed.

Fax: 416-531-2516 Attn: OpenSRS Support
Please Email [EMAIL PROTECTED] so we know to look for your fax.

Needless to say, this is a troublesome and drawn out process for you as well
as us. Please relay to your Customers the critical importance of the Admin
Email address.

Hope this helps
