If the child nameservers are assigned to the domain (i.e. if we transfered
tucows.com, the nameservers dns1/2/3 are assigned to it) our system will
pick it up automatically.

However, if there are nameservers not assigned to the parent domain, a
simple email to OpenSRS Support can allow us to ensure our system
recognizes the nameservers.

Unfortunately the registry does not provide a mechanism for querying
(real-time) all nameservers for a parent domain so the email step, for
now, is necessary (until we figure out a better way to do it)
